Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients
6 medium peppers
48oz of  tomato sauce
1/2 cup steak or bbq sauce (or combination)
2bls ground beef (or pork,chicken,veal)
1 1/2 cups minute rice
4cloves Garlic (minced)
1 medium onion (chopped)
1tsp oregano
1tsp basil
salt & pepper to taste
Method
Cut tops off of peppers and clean out seeds and fibers.
Mix meat,rice,garlic,onion,steak/bbq sauce and spices together and stuff peppers
Cover bottom of baking dish with 1/2 the tomato sauce them place peppers in dish.
Pour more sauce over each pepper and bake covered in a 350 degree over until meat is cook
and peppers are tender.(approximently 1 1/2 hrs)
Check fluid level during baking to make sure peppers do not go dry, if necessary add tomato juice or water.
